This annual event plays from the top of M Mountain (approximately 7,280 feet) down to the base. The first tee shot can travel about 500 to 600 yards depending on the line the player hits it on. The course features the usual collection of rattlesnakes, cactus, sheer rock faces, and clouds of clouds of gnats. Each participant is allowed three spotters to help find the golf ball and must provide their own spotters. Participants and their spotters must be 18 years of age or older. Scorekeepers will be assigned to each participant. All participants must sign a release and waiver of liability prior to teeing off.
