Our program fund is used to provide gifts to student award winners, like our Outstanding Student, Student Service, and Freshmen ChemECar Awards, as well as funding department events like our Design Day Luncheon for students, parents, and guests in between our junior and senior design presentations.
The Joshua Hill Memorial Fund was set-up in 2017 in memory of Josh Hill, a 2010 graduate from our department. The fund was established in his honor to advance our AIChE student club, specifically for its participation in ChemECar related events. Our goal is to build a $25,000 endowment to support this cause, one that we believe Josh, who was on our last ChemECar team to go to nationals, would have supported himself.
